I've been having a relaxing weekend at home again and so it was an opportunity to get into the kitchen and try out some of the cook books I got for my birthday.  Yesterday I made mulligatawny soup (Gordon recipe) and pizza fritta (Jamie), both the family and the evening guests enjoyed them, so they'll be on the menu again.  As I write, some pork belly is roasting and vegetables are being parboiled.  Lunch will soon be served!
